Portland forecast for the week ahead calls for five days of rain

Nov 2 2020, 8:04 pm

The weather forecast for the Portland metro area calls for five straight days of rain after Monday, lasting until the weekend.

Starting tomorrow — the same day as the 2020 US presidential election, but don’t look into that omen too much — our gorgeous region of the Pacific Northwest is set to see straight rain until Saturday, November 7.

Temperatures throughout the week don’t look too bad; however, they could dip below 40°F outside on Saturday.

If you intend to soak up some sun rays, today may be the only chance you get for a while.

Topping out above 60°F today, the weekly low could hit 41°F or below by Friday. This Saturday, it is expected to fall all the way down to 36°F.

Those expecting to line up tomorrow to cast their vote in the election should bring an umbrella or wear a raincoat. Lines could be hours long, and the weather forecast calls for moderate rain and a low of 50°F.
