We’re on the verge of seeing some major sun in the Pacific Northwest, and it’s going to exceed 90°F on Sunday in Portland.
Along with good, clear, and warm weather comes the desire to get out and enjoy all of the beautiful and wondrous spaces that Oregon has to offer. Portlandians are reminded to abide by guidelines from the Oregon Health Authority as they pertain to outdoor activities.
If you’re going to be within six feet of citizens that are not from your household, you are mandated to wear a face covering or mask. This order now includes children.

Looking at the new Daily Hive Weather data, it seems that the weekend’s heatwave could slow and lower by Tuesday of next week. Minimal winds and no rain in sight mean that everyone heading outside this weekend should prepare for some major sun, so protect yourself with sunscreen, umbrellas, and hats. Also, don’t forget to hydrate.
