Sep 29 2020, 7:41 pm

The Oregon Health Authority has launched the Safe and Strong platform to assist Oregonians in matters of mental health.

The Safe and Strong platform offers direct resources and help through information regarding mental wellness as well as options on how to assist those you love.

In addition to written and question-based resources, Safe and Strong lists hotlines for immediate contact with health professionals in a variety of fields.

Hotlines like the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, YouthLine, and The Trevor Project also offer chat-based support, while the latter two provide text support as well.

“As we face coronavirus, we are strongest when we are in community — even from a distance. To help keep our communities safe and healthy, this website will provide daily updates, resources, and information,” reads the Safe and Strong homepage. “Please check back often to get the support you and your loved ones need.”

“With the right information, we can get through this together.”
