Oregon reports close to 1,400 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours

The Oregon Health Authority has reported 1,390 new and presumptive COVID-19 cases, with 21 new deaths.

The state has now seen a total of 100,308 coronavirus cases, and the death toll has risen to 1,304.

The new confirmed and presumptive COVID-19 cases reported today are in the following counties: Baker (seven), Benton (34), Clackamas (117), Clatsop (six), Columbia (six), Coos (18), Crook (10), Curry (10), Deschutes (59), Douglas (14), Grant (three), Harney (two), Hood River (29), Jackson (76), Jefferson (27), Josephine (30), Klamath (62), Lake (one), Lane (93), Lincoln (seven), Linn (43), Malheur (17), Marion (153), Morrow (four), Multnomah (200), Polk (18), Tillamook (15), Umatilla (59), Union (one), Wasco (30), Washington (221), Yamhill (18).

Since Thursday, the number of hospitalizations has decreased by 12 to 539. As of the last count on December 17, 111 people remain in the ICU.
