A public park in Brooklyn, New York, has employed an innovative initiative to allow people to get some fresh air and venture outdoors while adhering to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) physical distancing requirements.

Domino Park has painted circles on the ground to assist visitors in maintaining the appropriate six-foot distance from one another.

Each circle indicates an area where groups and families can hang out. If the circles are empty, you are free to occupy them.

The spaces allow enough room for individuals to stretch out and lie down should they choose to suntan, exercise, or have a picnic.

As they relax, park visitors can admire views of the Williamsburg Bridge while they soak up some much-needed sunshine.

Many users have taken to social media with photos of/from the circles. Judging by comments on social media, the reaction to their implementation has been positive.

As temperatures steadily increase and people become more motivated to venture outside, solutions such as these present a favorable temporary compromise that will hopefully assist in public areas returning to a state of normalcy.
