Lan Su Garden will be full of lanterns and dragons for Chinese New Year

Glowing lanterns and fiery dragons will await your arrival at Lan Su Garden in February 2020 for Chinese New Year.

In a magnificent celebration, the Lan Su Garden will be decked out in traditional Chinese lanterns, lotus lanterns, and an awe-inspiring 20-ft dragon sculpture, instilling in you a renewed zest for life!

The event will also feature a jaw-dropping performance by Portland Lee’s Association Dragon & Lion Dance Team, which will surely captivate you with a traditional Chinese lion dance followed by a lighted dragon procession.

Attendees can also explore calligraphy demonstrations and make their Chinese New Year wishes come true at the popular Wishing Tree.

If you’re feeling peckish or thirsty, the Garden’s Teahouse will more than satisfy your tea cravings. From premium black and green teas, to oolong and white, the Teahouse also offers lovely snacks like candied mango slices, coconut tarts, Chinese steamed buns, dumplings, and mooncakes to suit your fancy.

Tickets went on sale for this event on December 1 and are still available.
