A drive-thru job fair is happening in Portland right now

There has been a reverberating impact on jobs and finances throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and right now in Portland, there’s a drive-thru job fair happening in order to help place qualified people into good jobs.

Express Employment Professionals is a longstanding community help organization that helps residents find jobs and prepare for interviews throughout the Oregon region.

Now, due to physical distancing regulations, and an even stronger need for jobs, they’re thinking outside of the box to help drive traffic to open positions of all kinds.

It starts on Thursday, May 28 at 10 am, and will operate until 2 pm.

The EEP recruiters will speak with job seekers from the safety of their own cars. “We go above and beyond to connect the staffing and employment services we provide to companies in our area by helping skilled job seekers find quality job opportunities,” reads the Express Employment Professionals website, and putting something like this together just goes to prove that mission statement true.
