This annual end of the year party is in its 29th year, and the classic Portland holiday NYE event is iconic for all the right reasons.

Unlike most NYE parties that have long lines, and cramped dance floors, the Champagne Ball is a massive cocktail party that has seen almost 40,000 people participate in the event in total, since it’s inception in 1990.
The ball has 18 bars, strategically placed throughout the venue so you don’t have to wait in long lines just to get a drink.

The event also features booty-shaking music courtesy popular local DJs, dance crews, a pre-party singles mixer, a variety of party favors, lounges, three dance floors, and several options for food and alcoholic beverages.
The event is strictly black-tie/cocktail attire only, and according to the event’s release, guests who show up in jeans will be turned away at the door, so make sure you’re dressed to the nines.
You can also expect confetti canons, balloon drops, and a mastic video countdown at the climax of the party.
