There have been 13 confirmed coronavirus cases at SAQs this month

Thirteen SAQ locations across the province have had confirmed COVID-19 cases since the beginning of July.

On Thursday, three provincial liquor outlets closed after eight of its employees tested positive for the virus.

“The health and well-being of its employees and clients are the utmost priority of the SAQ, states the liquor board’s website. “When one of our employees is affected by COVID-19, this employee and the colleagues who were in contact with him or her are placed in preventive isolation.”

The SAQ says it works closely with Public Health and takes all the necessary precautions and steps after an in-store outbreak has occurred.

Quebec’s liquor board commission says that 25 out of the 42 employees of the stores listed below have been authorized by Public Health to “resume their normal activities.”

Here are the SAQ locations that have had at least one employee test positive for COVID-19 since the beginning of the month.
