You see strange things on the Metro… but this fox sighting was certainly a first.

A little red fox was seen roaming around McGill metro station on Friday. Pictures of the animal wandering on the tracks began popping up on social media.

STM responded to the reports and contacted the police.

According to STM, fox was safely removed from the tracks on Friday night by Montreal police and later released on Île Sainte-Hélène.

Hopefully, this little guy stays in the wild for good.
