Red Bull is bringing back its music festival to Montreal next month and its full lineup has been announced.
The Red Bull Music Festival will make its way to the city from September 18 to 23, “to explore the minds and scenes shaping music.”
The festival then hops over to Toronto after from October 16 to 21.
- Red Bull is paying $10 to Canadians who thought it would actually give them wings
- Pop-ups and events happening across US to ring in ‘Friends’ 25th anniversary
- There’s a week-long burger festival happening in Montreal next month
According to Red Bull, both cities can expect another run of programming that spotlights rising local musicians, producers, and DJs while presenting exciting collaborations with groundbreaking artists, bringing their boundary-pushing visions to the stage.
Last year’s festivals featured never before seen (or heard) collaborations between members of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and OVO R&B duo DVSN, the Canadian debut of Oneohtrix Point Never’s immersive ‘concertscape’ MYRIAD, and an all-night multi-room 10 year birthday party for Arbutus Records.
“From sold-out shows to dominating streaming service playlists, there’s a new generation of Montreal artists breaking boundaries and making a name for themselves,” reads the Red Bull website. “Despite coming from different backgrounds and speaking different languages, they represent the city’s genre-diverse multicultural communities.”
Tickets are on sale now and range between $10 and $20.
