In the September 28 update, 1,426,069 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec.

This is the second-highest reported case since September 27, when 896 cases were reported in Quebec, according to Santé Quebec.

Public health continues to advise people to frequently wash their hands, use alcohol-based sanitizers, wear face masks in public, and respect the maximum 10-person limit for indoor gatherings.

In line with Quebec’s health and safety protocols, for people aged 10 and over, wearing a face-covering is mandatory in most enclosed and partially enclosed public places, as well as on public transit.
