The Sûreté du Québec is seeking the public’s help in gathering information on the 2016 murder of reputed mafia boss, Rocco Sollecito.
On May 26, 2016, Sollecito was shot to death in his car at a stop sign, just 300 metres away from police headquarters on Saint-Elzear Boulevard in Laval.

The SQ has set up a mobile command post in Laval today, asking anyone with information regarding the event to step forward or to contact the Sûreté du Québec Criminal Information Center at 1-800-659-4264.
According to police, Sollecito was leaving his home when a gunman emerged and fired “several bullets into Sollecito’s car.” The 68-year-old was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Police are looking for two individuals who fled the scene on a black motorcycle.
