Take a free ride on this neon-lit ferris wheel in Montreal starting this week

Feb 17 2020, 3:05 pm

La Grande Roue is going to have some ferris wheel competition starting this week as Montréal en Lumière’s neon wheel opens to the public.

For free, no less.

As part of the city’s week-long Montréal en Lumière festival, the giant, neon wheel will stand out among the Quartier des Spectacles’ outdoor activities, food, music, and performances.

The festival aims to light up the city during the dark days of winter and the top of the wheel offers guests spectacular views of the Quartier des Spectacles and the Montreal skyline.

Presented by Maple from Québec, the giant illuminated ferris wheel cozies up to the Quartier Gourmand sector of the festival, offering guests authentic Quebec-made maple syrup samples.

The Québec Maple Ferris Wheel opens to the general public on Thursday, February 20 at 5 pm.

Soak up the winter in style, Montreal.
