Quebec reports over 140 new coronavirus cases, zero new deaths

The Quebec government revealed that the province’s COVID-19 death toll has remained at 5,667 after announcing zero new deaths since Sunday morning.

COVID-19 cases in the province increased by 145 in the past 24 hours.

According to Santé Quebec, there are now 58,728 cases in the province, 200 hospitalizations, and seven patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 724,714 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and over 30,000 cases have been resolved.

The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Sunday, July 26, at 6 pm. Santé Quebec says that despite the newly announced cases, hospitalizations continue to drop.

Canada’s coronavirus death toll now totals 8,890.
