Quebec reports nearly 600 new coronavirus case increase in past day
Quebec public health has announced 582 new coronavirus cases since Wednesday morning.
According to Santé Quebec, the province’s coronavirus death toll has increased to 5,810 after announcing one new COVID-19-related death attributed to September 19.
This is the 6th day in a row that Quebec has reported more than 425 coronavirus cases.
There are now 69.670 cases in the province, 184 hospitalizations, and 31 patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 1,361,616 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and over 60,000 cases have been resolved.
The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Wednesday, September 23, at 6 pm.

Public health continues to advise people to frequently wash their hands, use alcohol-based sanitizers, wear face masks in public, and respect the maximum 10-person limit for indoor gatherings.
Canada’s coronavirus death toll is now 9,244.
