Quebec reports fifth consecutive day of over 425 new coronavirus cases
Quebec public health has announced 471 new coronavirus cases since Tuesday morning.
According to Santé Quebec, the province’s coronavirus death toll has increased to 5,809 after announcing one new COVID-19-related deaths since the two announced on Sunday.
This is the 5th day in a row that Quebec has reported more than 425 coronavirus cases.
There are now 69,088 cases in the province, 178 hospitalizations, and 30 patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 1,344,177 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and over 58,000 cases have been resolved.
The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Tuesday, September 22, at 6 pm.

Public health continues to advise people to frequently wash their hands, use alcohol-based sanitizers, wear face masks in public, and respect the maximum 10-person limit for indoor gatherings.
