Quebec reports over 120 new coronavirus cases for fifth straight day

There were 132 new coronavirus cases confirmed in the province over the past 24 hours, the fifth consecutive day of over 120 cases.
According to Santé Quebec, the province’s coronavirus death toll has reached 5,764 with two more COVID-19-related deaths being announced since Tuesday morning.
There are now 62,746 cases in the province, 109 hospitalizations, and 20 patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 1,066,344 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and over 55,500 cases have been resolved.
The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Tuesday, September 2, at 6 pm.
On Friday, Quebec public health officials announced 156 new COVID-19 cases, 120 on Saturday, 140 from Sunday, 120 on Monday, and 122 on Tuesday.
