
Quebec is reporting more than 1,000 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours along with five virus-related deaths.
According to Santé Quebec, provincial numbers now total 94,429 cases since the start of the pandemic and 6,044 coronavirus-related deaths.
Two deaths have been attributed to the past day, and three have been added to last week’s numbers.
Public health is reporting 1,694,867 negative tests and 532 hospitalizations, 92 of which are in intensive care. According to Sante Québec, 79,592 cases have been deemed as “recoveries.”

Public health continues to advise people to frequently wash their hands, use alcohol-based sanitizers, wear face masks in public, and respect the maximum 10-person limit for indoor gatherings.
Canada’s coronavirus death toll is now 9,760.
