Quebec reports over 120 new coronavirus cases for third straight day

There were 140 new coronavirus cases confirmed in the province over the past 24 hours, the third consecutive day of over 120 cases.
According to Santé Quebec, the province’s coronavirus death toll has reached 5,760 with two more COVID-19-related deaths being announced since Sunday.
There are now 62,492 cases in the province, 112 hospitalizations, and 18 patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 1,051,649 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and over 55,300 cases have been resolved.
The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Sunday, August 30, at 6 pm.
On Friday, Quebec public health officials announced 156 new COVID-19 cases, 120 on Saturday, and 140 from Sunday.
