Quebec reports over 140 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

There were 142 new coronavirus cases confirmed in the province over the past 24 hours along with one COVD-19-related deaths.

According to Santé Quebec, the province’s coronavirus death toll has also increased to 5,747.

There are now 61,945 cases in the province, 110 hospitalizations, and 12 patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 1,008,744 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and over 54,000 cases have been resolved.

The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Tuesday, August 25, at 6 pm.

Santé Quebec says that despite the newly announced cases, hospitalizations continue to stabilize.
