Quebec reports under 100 coronavirus cases for fourth consecutive day

There are 55 new coronavirus cases confirmed in the province over the past 24 hours, the fourth consecutive day of less than 100 reported cases in Quebec.
According to Santé Quebec, the province’s coronavirus death toll has also increased by one since Sunday morning, raising the provincial total to 5,721.
There are now 61,206 cases in the province, 145 hospitalizations, and 21 patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 928,215 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and 53,908 cases have been resolved.
The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Sunday, August 16, at 6 pm.
Santé Quebec says that despite the newly announced cases, hospitalizations continue to stabilize.
