Quebec adds nearly 245 new coronavirus cases after data adjustment

Quebec public health has announced 244 new coronavirus after a data adjustment from the past week as well as 251 cases in the past 24 hours.
According to Santé Quebec, the province’s coronavirus death toll has increased to 5,791 after announcing two COVID-19-related deaths in the past day.
There are now 66,346 cases in the province, 136 hospitalizations, and 29 patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 1,249,053 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and over 58,000 cases have been resolved.

The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Wednesday, September 16, at 6 pm.

Public health continues to advise people to frequently wash their hands, use alcohol-based sanitizers, wear face masks in public, and respect the maximum 10-person limit for indoor gatherings.
Canada’s coronavirus death toll now totals 9,196.
