Sherbrooke’s inaugural Great PoutineFest is happening right before St. Jean Baptiste weekend – how poetic.

After 3 successful editions in Montreal, the Great PoutineFest, (Le Grand PoutineFest) is expanding to 10 other Quebec cities in the future and their first stop is Sherbrooke.

The Great PoutineFest is bringing Quebec’s best poutine restaurants with them via food trucks. Each restaurant will bring a signature dish to the hungry patrons of Sherbrooke University.

Every day, the outdoor festival will host live music, local DJs, and interactive activities for Sherbrooke poutine fans. There will be a build-your-own poutine station as well as a poutine eating contest.

That’ll be a sight to see.

There will also be giant inflatable castles for little poutine eaters to enjoy.

The food trucks representing their restaurants that will be present at the festival are as follows:

Sherbrooke’s Great PoutineFest is free to enter but if simply smelling the poutines aren’t enough, each poutine costs $9 – $13. Combo platters combining different food truck poutines are also available.

The festival wants to stress that vegan poutine options are also available, so everyone can enjoy some traditional Quebec cuisine.
