Huge FREE Indian food festival is taking over Parc Jeanne Mance

Montreal’s had a slew of food festivals already this summer, why not add some Indian to the list?
Montreal’s 40th annual Festival of India returns this July for one exciting weekend full of Indian culture.

The two-day event will feature all sorts of festivities, including a parade down Saint Laurent Boulevard (starting at Rue Milton) to start off the festival.

Yoga workshops, a children’s area, and street vendors will then station at Parc Jeanne Mance for the remainder of the weekend.

According to the website, the Festival of India, also known as Ratha-Yatra, will be expecting over 12,000 people for the weekend.

“Today the cultural wealth of India continues to inspire and attract the world, and we are presenting you an unforgettable opportunity to taste the flavours of this ancient tradition – so different, but so welcoming!” say the festival’s website.

The festival will also include yoga workshops, a performance stage, a kid’s corner, and a souvenir shop.

The best part? This amazing event is 100% free to attend!
