No one would argue that McGill University has one of the most beautiful college campuses in all of Canada. Dating back to 1821, the centrally located campus is chock full of gorgeous buildings dating back to the nineteenth century.

The Arts Building, the Redpath Museum, and the Islamic Studies Library are just a few examples of McGill’s stunning architectural beauty.

Though some might say McGill looks best when covered in blossoming flowers and full green trees, we’re here to show you that the campus is simply at its best in winter.

Now that Montreal has had its first real snowfall, we can safely say that McGill is never prettier than when it’s covered in a magical blanket of snow.

Check out 18 photos that prove the McGill campus is more beautiful in winter.
