Ottawa has been in the spotlight for more than its hockey team recently.

The nation’s capital recently hosted its annual Canadian Tulip Festival, showcasing Ottawa’s official flower as a symbol of international friendship.

This year, the festival celebrated its 65th anniversary as it took place from May 12 to 22. And while the fest has concluded, the tulips continue to bloom.

(And of course, so do the Ottawa Senators.)

Check out some of the beautiful photos taken at this year’s festival. And start planning to visit next year!
