For event goers seeking that little extra ounce of adrenaline, Jacklope might be for you.
The festival is on its way to Montreal this summer and it’s headlined by non other than professional skateboarder Tony Hawk and BMX rider, Mat Hoffman.
According to the Jackalope website, the three-day festival is “an international showcase of raw talent, outdoor fun and stimulating exchanges at a unique event.”
The entire event is staged outside at the Olympic Stadium. The event hosts a slew of adrenaline based activities that include: skateboarding, BMX, bouldering, motocross, slacklining and water gun fights.
There will also be a Jacklope pop-up shop on sight, food trucks, live music and a Tony Hawk and Mat Hoffman meet and greet.
The schedule includes The World Cup of Skateboarding Competition (Men and Women’s), Rock climbing competitions, and a junior (less than 13 years old) skateboarding tournament. Hawk and Hoffman are on sight for all three days and will partake in the skate park’s activities.
Athletes wishing to participate in the competition are urged to sign up online and tickets are available now for guests who want to watch.
