March’s weather will be good news for winter-haters but bad news for outdoor-skaters.
With spring around the corner (at least, we hope) the Natrel Skating Rink in Old Montreal will be closing for the season this Sunday, March 10.
Ice conditions on both the refrigerated and the natural rink are still “excellent,” according to the Old Port of Montreal website but maintenance, which takes 30 minutes three times a day, will be too difficult to maintain once the weather warms up.
