Montreal Space for Life is hosting a month’s worth of Halloween events beginning on October 6.

Head to the Botanical Garden where you can check out the hundreds of decorated pumpkins on display.

At the Insectarium, spiders take the spotlight. Get up close with this creepy-crawly creatures and learn how they help our environment.

At the Biodôme, a very special Halloween event will take place featuring beavers, otters and fish as they all will have to use their senses and abilities to get to their favourite foods, hidden carefully away in pumpkins.

Save the date for these events happening throughout October at the Botanical Garden including:

  • The pumpkin decorating contest, which is open for entries until October 15
  • The Great Pumpkin Ball, with its display of more than 800 artistically transformed squash of all kinds
  • The return of Esmeralda, the friendly witch, with her fabulous recipes and zany magic potions
  • The Little Monsters Courtyard, at the kids’ outdoor play area, and the Squash Kiosk

Premiering this year is an all-new children’s storytelling session, POUAH, bébé sorcière (in French only), directed by Jean-Francois Guilbeault and based on the book by Lucie Papineau and illustrator Steve Beshwaty.
