After Mother Nature teased us with the return of warm weather in Montreal, it’s safe to say that we’re all ready for spring to arrive.

Lucky for us, we’re going to have a taste of the new season starting tomorrow. Temperatures are expected to drop down to -11°C tonight and then increase to a much milder 5°C by midday tomorrow — a 16º difference that will allow us to thaw-out in preparation for warmer days.

The end of the week is going to get a bit colder, with expected temperatures going as low as -19°C on Thursday night.

Talk about under the weather.

This cold weather also comes as Quebec Premier François Legault prepares to loosen the curfew in Montreal, making our 9 pm walks especially chilly.

But not to worry, we’ll start to get temperatures worthy of a Quebec spring to wrap up this weekend. Starting Sunday, we’ll experience the warmest weather we’ve seen since the beginning of the month.

Temperatures are expected to rise to 7ºC on Saturday and 11ºC on Sunday before heating up to 13ºC to start next week.
