“The Art Tattoo Montreal is a celebration of the art of tattooing, its artists, and its community,” reads the festival’s website. “The convention is a way to positively promote tattooing and bring artists from all over the world together for a weekend of sharing and learning in a fun atmosphere.”
Guests can also take this opportunity to add some ink to your tattoo collection as artists will be available on site.
Organizers remind festival-goers that “it is not necessary to have an appointment during the weekend as the majority of artists take walk ups without an appointment.”
There will be flash drawings to choose from and guests are also invited to bring their own ideas.
In the past decade, more than 100,000 guests have checked out the tattoo convention, according to the Art Tattoo Montreal website.
“As for the merely curious, they can enjoy the event to discover the art of tattooing and become familiar with everything that goes with it.”
Tattoo competitions and art exhibitions will also be scheduled for the three-day weekend as well as jewellery vendors, books, and clothing.
