Known as the largest outdoor gathering of merchants and vendors in Canada, Saint-Catherine Street Celebrates will completely close off to vehicular traffic between Rue Guy and Rue Mansfield.
More than 300 boutiques, stores, and restaurants set up outlets outside for Montrealers to browse and enjoy.
The street welcomes pedestrians with street art, animation, graffiti, music, and acrobats while the vendors and restaurants make the festive street impossible to ignore.
More than 300,000 visitors ramble onto the street over the three-day event and the phenomenal atmosphere is highlighted by the fact that you can find some pretty solid deals from Montreal’s most popular and fashionable stores.
The festival is fun for all ages and includes a bouncy castle and life-size chess boards for the kids, as well as free samples from a variety of outlets.
Free samples? Art? Shopping? Refreshments? We’re going to ink this one into the July calendar, folks.
The street-side party goes on rain or shine.
