Santa Claus came to town this weekend and he’ll be keeping an eye on Montrealers to see who’s naughty or nice up until the big day.
The 68th annual Santa Claus Parade took place along rue Ste. Catherine on Saturday and thousands of locals, both young and old, were on hand to officially ring in the holiday season in the city.
This year’s parade featured more than 20 floats that include the ‘Christmas Fairy’ display as well as the big man himself, Santa Claus, and his haul of reindeer.
Artists, musicians, dancers and street performers took to the historic street, all decked out in holiday garb.
Rebroadcasts of the parade will take place on Sunday, December 2 on the TVA network and Sunday, December 23 at 12:30 pm on the Yoopa channel.
But, for now, here are 19 pictures and videos from this year’s parade in case you want to relive the magic.
