The Royalmount mega-mall is set to open in 2018. The structure will be a massive shopping and entertainment centre located at the junction of Highways 40 and 15.

Carbonleo, the developer responsible for the project, has released official renderings of the project to give Montrealers a better idea of what the $1.7-billion mall will look like.

According to Carbonleo, the mall, located in the town of Mount Royal, will consist of a variety of services, including hotels, offices, commercial establishments, restaurants, cinemas, concert halls and other types of entertainment venues.

The centre will cover 2.5 million square feet and construction is scheduled to start later in 2018. The project is expected to be complete by 2022.
