Free rent offered as move-in incentive at these Montreal properties

While Montreal continues to be a moderately expensive city to live in, the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in more rental units becoming available in the market.

And with lack of jobs, along with short-term rentals going back into the market due to lack of tourism, Rentals.ca has highlighted some properties in and around Montreal offering move-in incentives like free month’s rent.

“Montreal and Kitchener were the only two major municipalities in all of the country to see positive growth,” says the rental.ca report. “Montreal led all the major cities for higher rent appreciation at 17.2% for rental and condo apartments.”

Benny Crescent is offering renters free rent until 2021 after paying just one month of rent.

4858 Côte-Des-Neiges Road

This spacious apartment complex in Côte-des-Neiges is offering a month of free rent.

1285 Decarie Street

Norgate and Renaissance rental complex is free exterior parking and resident insurance included on all newly-signed leases.

305 Rue de la Montagne

Renters who sign a lease in this Little Burgundy complex get one month of free rent.

2250 Guy Street

Renters at this 33-storey building in downtown Montreal need only pay one month of rent before living rent-free until 2021.
