
As if you needed additional reasons to stay inside, Mother Nature has got you covered.
Speaking of getting covered, Environment Canada has issued as rainfall warning for Montreal, calling up to 35 mm of downfall.
“Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible,” reads the weather agency’s alert. “Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.”

The warning, issued in the early hours of Thursday morning, is in effect for the following areas:
- Châteauguay – La Prairie area
- Laval area
- Longueuil – Varennes area
- Montreal Island area
