Sasha Velour, the winner of season 9 of Rupaul’s Drag Race, hosted the fourth edition of Montreal Pride’s Drag Superstars, one of the festival’s most popular events.
Velour is a gender-fluid drag queen and visual artist, says the FiertĂŠ Montreal website. “Through multi-media performance, advocacy, and design, Velourâs work maps out new frontiers for drag and creates new spaces for LGBTQ artists to flourish and thrive.”
A stroll through the crowd at Parc des Faubourgs showed thousands of guests, dressed to the nines in all the colours of the rainbow.

On stage were the likes of A’keria Chanel Davenport, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Detox, Latrice Royale, Naomi Smalls, Trinity the Tuck, and a bunch of local queens as well.
