Take a trip to Mexico this weekend without having to leave the city.

A Mexican fiesta will be taking over Pied-du-Courant on Saturday, August 6.

The event is meant to take after the zocalo – a public place to meet and celebrate in Mexico. Celebrations have been held there since the time of the Aztecs.

This fiesta will feature live music from Pana Li, Master Gajo and Pig.

There will also be a piñata and mask workshop, a margarita bar, and tacos.

A pop-up shop featuring the work of Cara Carmina and objects inspired by Frida Khalo will also be on site.

This is a one-day party you don’t want to miss!
