As travellers start to consider post-quarantine destinations, Forbes is offering a sneak peek of its 2021 Star Award winners to give people some getaway inspiration.

And, for people looking for hotels to stay at in Montreal, downtown’s Four Seasons Hotel Montreal has been given the Five-Star award by Forbes.

According to the publication, the Forbes Travel Guide (FTG) is the only global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, and spas.

“We are thrilled to celebrate this important accolade, received thanks to the continuous effort made by our hotel’s biggest asset-our team,” says David Wilkie, Four Seasons Hotel Montreal, General Manager. “They are dedicated and passionate individuals committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience.”

The Four Seasons Hotel Montreal opened in 2019, and it brings together locals and visitors to the heart of downtown’s Golden Square Mile.

The hotel’s chic interiors host 169 guest rooms that are full of comforting colours, ethereal backlighting, smooth velvet textures, mirrored surfaces, swathes of marble and bronze, and gold and dark wood accents.

The Four Seasons’ third floor has an open-concept space designed by Montreal firm Atelier Zébulon Perron, and it hosts both the hotel’s lobby as well as MARCUS Restaurant + Terrace and MARCUS Bar + Lounge.

FTG is now adding to the prestigious award winners list by revealing some 2021 winners early to provide getaway inspiration as travel hopefully resumes in a post-quarantine world. The early winners for 2021 were inspected before COVID-19 closures, according to Forbes.

Forbes Travel Guide will celebrate the full list of 2021 Star Award winners in spring 2021.
