La Poutine Week Montreal
If you thought the poutine in itself is delicious, how about an entire week-long festival devoted to the tasty dish?
Your New Years resolutions can be put on hold for a week because, during the first week of February, things will get greasy.
Actually.
La Poutine Week returns to the city from February 1 to 7 as a variety of Montreal spots will create their own signature poutine-dish, vying to become the city-wide champion, voted by restaurant patrons.

Pinball Tournament
North Star hosts a giant pinball tournament on the first Wednesday of every month and guess what today is?
Whether you’re a beginner and want to check out what all the fuss is about, or if you’re a veteran who wants to be crowned champion, there’s plenty to do for pinballers of any level.
It’s free to play and there are always prizes to be won. The tournament is also endorsed by the IFPA so players will earn World Pinball Player Ranking points.

Snow Tubing on Mont Royal
Take advantage of the pride of Montreal by snow tubing down it. Since the temperatures jumped all around in the past 24 hours, the slopes are going to be icy and fun.
Discover the exhilaration of snow tubing down reserved lanes next to the toboggan hill overlooking Beaver Lake.

Bowling – Forum Sports Bar
Cozy up inside the Forum and strike some bowling off your list this month.
The Forum Sports Bar hosts 16 lanes of 10-pin bowling for $5 a game (tax and shoes included) on Wednesdays.
You also can’t go wrong with the giant square bar, arcade games, and TV screens.

McKibbin’s Irish Pub Hooley Night
McKibbin’s Irish Pub hosts their “Hooley Night” tonight on their third-floor dance club. Ladies pay $10 at the door, gentlemen pay $25 and then it’s an open bar, all you can drink. That includes Moosehead beer, vodka, gin, rum, rye and whiskey as part of the special.
There’s a dance floor, DJ and a whole lot of people, lines form pretty quickly so get there good and early.
