Shania Twain at the Bell Centre

The five-time Grammy Award-winner and the OG “Queen of Country Pop” is back on the road in 2018 and she’s stopping in Montreal today.

The top-selling female country artist of all time, Twain will perform songs from her highly anticipated new album NOW, including her singles “Life’s About to Get Good,” “Poor Me,” and “Swingin’ With My Eyes Closed.”

You can bet she’ll be playing some of her classics too!

Honey Martin Trivia

Honey Martin is a cozy Irish Pub in NDG that hosts arguably the best pub trivia in Montreal. They do six rounds of ten questions. A winner is rewarded each round with either a round of drinks or a round of shots. A round for a round – great deal. The questions are all general knowledge, it’s very casual and a lot of fun. The trivia host is interactive and funny. Buy him a shot and he’ll go easy on you.

Trannavision: Jurassic Park

Trannavision is a comfortable venue that regularly screens a wonderfully awful or cult classic movie while comedians provide live commentary on the film. Today’s edition is showing the original Jurassic Park in honour of the 4th sequel that just came out. It’s a lot of fun, very funny and they sell cheap drinks. The only thing is the venue fills up quickly and it’s first come, first serve.

Yoga on the Canal

Moksha Yoga Griffintown is bringing guests yoga on the canal this weekend. The session is open to everyone from any (or no) yoga background. The class happens in the evening to give you a cool and calming practice while watching the sunset.
