Mutek
Mutek hosts some of the most creative electronic music and digital art in the world. The festival, which starts today, features over 100 musicians, producers and audiovisual artists performing for free, outside.

Fashion & Design Festival
The Fashion & Design Festival celebrates creativity and culture through a major outdoor event in the heart of Montreal’s theatre district. The activities include fashion shows, live creative sessions, design showcasing and musical performances. The Fashion & Design Festival’s presence will also be felt around the city with novel exhibits, original installations and unique experiences open to all.

Montreal’s International Triathlon
Elite and amateur athletes compete for world and personal bests in the annual Montreal triathlon. The contestants will have to swim, bike, run, and sweat to be crowned champion.
It’s too late to compete but it’s an impressive event to watch.

The Montreal World Film Festival
On the heels of the Fantasia Film Festival, the 42nd edition of the Montreal World Film Festival encourages cultural diversity and understanding between nations and fosters cinema of all continents.
The festival, which starts today, features short films, genre pieces and both competitive and non-competitive selections from films all over the world.
The MWFF is spread throughout various outdoor and indoor venues across the city. Check out their website for specific spots for selected films.
