Saturday has arrived Montreal. Takes some time to attend a Remembrance Day event today and check out this list for all other things happening around town.

Jenny Holzer: For Leonard Cohen (Pour Leonard Cohen)

MAC will illuminate Silo No. 5. For Leonard Cohen (For Leonard Cohen) is a series of gigantic silent screenings on one of Montreal’s most iconic structures. The installation features sentences from Cohen’s poems and songs screened in French and English.

Montreal Puppy Meetup

This could be the cutest event happening in Montreal. On November 11, puppy owners can head down to Le Doggy Café for their Saturday Puppy Meetup.

This event is a new monthly event taking place Le Doggy Café. It’s meant to bring together puppies and their owners to for a very cute play date. Bring your puppy and prepare for cuteness overload.

Alpacas from A to Z

Who doesn’t love a cute alpaca?

You can get up close and personal with these cute furry creatures at an alpaca workshop happening at the Longueuil Public Market on November 11 and 12.

Liquid Architecture

An immersive ‘liquid architecture’ exhibition will be taking place at Montreal’s Society of Technological Arts (SAT).

The exhibit is an audiovisual experience that deconstructs 3D scans of monuments, buildings, and structures into a mesmerizing experience that will be projected on the dome of the SAT.

Time: 7 pm, each show runs for 40 minutes

Barbie Expo

What: Come and check out the world’s largest Barbie exhibit this month. The exhibit will feature Barbies of various ethnicities, dressed in traditional clothes, as well as great Hollywood stars (Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, etc.). A separate section is reserved for haute-couture dolls, which have been dressed by Dior, Chanel, Givenchy and many more notable names from the fashion industry.
