If you thought Tim Horton’s classic donut holes were delicious, just wait until you try Mr. Puffs loukoumades (a.k.a. Greek donut holes).
Started right here in Montreal, Mr. Puff Pastry Inc. (informally known as Mr. Puffs) was founded in 2004 by Billy Siounis and is the first bakery of its kind in North America.
Though they may not have as many kinds as Tim Horton’s, the flavours they do offer look pretty darn amazing.
Mr. Puffs specializes in nine types of donut holes: chocolate hazelnut, creamy caramel, hazelnut biscotti, honey dipped, honey walnut, honey glazed, maple syrup, strawberry sugar, and sugar cinnamon.
Their scrumptious treats are available in-store, via their food truck which you’ll see at numerous Montreal events, and through catering.
Get them as a gift for a friend, bring them to a holiday office party, or munch on them as you sip your Saturday morning coffee. No matter what, you won’t be disappointed.
