Here's a breakdown of Montreal's COVID-19 cases per district

Public health has updated the region’s data in connection to the pandemic.

With 52,674 known cases of the virus as of December 4, Montreal accounts for 35.6% of Quebec’s 147,877 total. Montreal also makes up 3,654 (50.8%) of Quebec’s 7,183 coronavirus-related deaths.

Montreal’s COVID-related death toll has increased by 44 since last week. The city has also announced 2,784 new cases since November 20.

“Montreal is taking measures to protect the population from COVID-19,” says the city’s website. “These measures are changing as the situation evolves, which is why we are constantly monitoring its evolution.”

Santé Montreal, the city’s public health department, has updated its website, breaking down known cases per district. The agency says Montreal’s cases and deaths are continuing to stabilize.

Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce reported the biggest increase since last week, rising by 257 cases. Senneville had the smallest increase, confirming only one more case since November 27.
