According to Café Baba Yaga’s co-owner Monika Terlecki, most recipes come from her mom who is Polish and has tons of family recipe books. Other recipes are from friends with Russian and Ukrainian backgrounds.

The Polish spot’s speciality is perogies. With a mushroom and sauerkraut pierogi, beef and onion pierogi, potato and cheese curd pierogi, and dessert pierogis you can’t go wrong.
If you have more of a sweet tooth, try the deserts. Fill up on a variety of pastries including paczki, charlotka and rogalki – which work perfectly for both breakfast or an afternoon snack.
