McDonald's resumes dining room service across Quebec

Jul 14 2020, 1:46 pm

Following the successful reintroduction of take-out at 30 Canadian test locations, McDonald’s is welcoming guests into dining rooms throughout Quebec using several added safeguards.

McDonald’s says it is adding to the franchise’s existing high standards of cleanliness, including enhanced safety and wellness measures to ensure “every part of McDonald’s experience is safe for our guests and employees.”

Changes inside Quebec restaurants include newly added hand sanitizers, floor markers to help customers keep their distance, counters fitted with protective screens, contactless payment options, designated dine-in tables to respect distancing, and a limited number of guests inside at a time.

The brand has already reintroduced takeout services, but dine-in had been suspended up until now.
