It’s pretty much like the real-life version of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, but instead of candy, it’s a full bank account.
In total, Loto-Québec is looking for eight lottery winners, five of whom are waiting to collect a smooth million bucks.
$500,000, $333,333, and $250,000 prizes are also waiting to be claimed.
The $1 million winning tickets were purchased in Gatineau, in the regional county municipality of La Haute-Yamaska, Terrebonne, the greater Longueuil area, and the regional county municipality of Brome-Missisquoi. The other prizes were purchased in Lévis, Quebec City, and Joliette.
Start flipping those couch cushions over and check your back pockets, there’s a lot of money looking for its rightful wallet and winners only have 12 months to claim their prize.
