The abysmal year that is 2020 could take a pretty rich turn for someone who hasn’t yet checked last week’s lottery ticket.

Loto-Québec is searching for the unclaimed winner of the October 9 Lotto Max $70 million draw.

It’s essentially the real-life version of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, but instead of candy, it’s a full bank account.

“The holder of the winning ticket still hasn’t come forward,” says a Loto-Québec news release. “Loto-Québec is urging its customers to check their ticket.”

So, start flipping those couch cushions over and check your back pockets, there’s a lot of money looking for its rightful wallet, and the crown corporation says the winning ticket was purchased in Montreal.

The winning combination for the big loot is 04-06-12-30-32-33-34 (bonus 29).

If you do end up owning the $70-million-worthy ticket, don’t forget to share the wealth with the online publication that steered you in the right direction.

Wink, wink.
